Pranayama & Meditation
In Yoga Studio we adapt classical yoga (hatha) to our culture and way of life. We endeavour to retain yoga’s ancestral essence and purpose: to create an environment that promotes introspection through movement aided by the conscience of breathing, which finally leads to meditation.
By exploring the areas of the body where there is movement, we identify where it is restricted, limited or blocked. Progressively increasing the range of joint movement and eliminating residual tensions, we enable contact with one’s own breathing. We also identify where “we do not breathe”, taking into account that the goal is to breathe through the entire body. Thus, we enter into inwardly observation and achieve a perspective of ourselves from within.
