Yoga

Yoga provides many benefits to people who practice it regularly and it is an important ally to our general well-being. It strengthens our body while making it more flexible, it soothes us inwardly and balances us outwardly.

In Yoga Studio Marta Mahou we understand yoga as a form of achieving holistic well-being, and we practice it through introspection and knowledge of oneself, using the body and breathing as vehicles.

Yoga Studio is especially suitable for people with:

- minor chronic back ailments;

- sedentary lifestyles;
- who desire higher personal balance;
- who, in general, wish to stay fit.

Yoga Studio teaches yoga inspired on the Iyengar method and enriched with the personal experience of Marta Mahou, acquired through 30 years of continued practice and learning.

Our aim is to enable people to benefit from yoga according to their physical capabilities and limitations. We stay away from purist doctrines that demand extreme and inadequate contortions for certain types of bodies, which can cause injuries through practice itself.

We give outmost importance to the sequence of postures, preparing the joints for the intensity of the asana. At the end of each session, we reach an ideal balance between psychological and physical well-being.
